10. Pontypool- I can't believe I had the honor of talking to the writer of Pontypool, Tony Burgess. This film taught me something about filmmaking and the ability to capture intense moments with extremely limited budget and location. This film actually instilled anxiety in me the first couple viewings.



9. Blood River- It took me by surprise then jerked me around. One of the most unforgettable endings in film history.





















8. Precious- Will this win best picture? Dunno, but it will get nominated beyond a doubt. I was crying in the first five minutes.






7. The Messenger- This one kind of surprised me. As a movie it wasn't amazing by any regard, but it's subject matter stuck with me.























6. Dead Snow- My favorite horror film of the year. Nazi Zombie flick paying homeage to the Evil Dead trilogy.























5. Antichrist- This film has probably spawned more conversations than any other film I have ever watched. Once Jeff filled me in on his take, my eyes opened and this film greatly encapsulated a hard to define process. Amazing.



















4. Pirate Radio- Ok, two movies with Chris O'Dowd in a row? Thats because he is an ideal candidate to be in fun films. I can't quite place what, but something with this film really stuck with me.






















3. Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel- I first watched this because I am a huge fan of Chris O'Dowd from the IT Crowd. I love this film; it has to be one of the best comedies I have ever seen. It is fun and mindless- a great stress releiver.






2. Wold's Greatest Dad- We were so close to getting Bobcat Goldthwait on the show, but unfortunately he just does not have the time. This is a black comedy and a completely serious drama/ satire at the same time. It was breeze to watch and the reviewing value is out of this world.






1. Brief Interviews with Hideous Men- This movie changed my perceptions on so many levels. This has to be #1 of the year by a long shot.
